Within the framework of the Unified Aeromedical Space, the helicopter of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine transported the patient from the most remote mountain area of Lviv region to the medical institution of the regional center
On April 9, the EU-145 Eurocopter landed in Lviv, where it transported a 79-year-old woman with a stroke from the city of Turka, Lviv region.
The need for aeromedical evacuation by helicopter of rescuers arose due to the serious condition of the woman, as well as the geographical location of the settlement, because the city is located in the most remote mountainous area.
After landing at the runway of the Clinical Emergency Medical Hospital, the woman was transferred to doctors for qualified medical care.
Operational transportation of the seriously ill became possible thanks to the started duty in Lviv region of the sanitary brigade of the Aviation System of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. After all, within the framework of the Unified Aeromedical Space, since April 1, an E-145 helicopter with a medical module has been on duty, which will provide emergency assistance to the population of six western regions, which includes a crew and a medical team.
