Odesa State University of Internal Affairs Celebrated Knowledge Day
Today, September 1, Odessa State University of Internal Affairs celebrated the Day of Knowledge.
The rector of the university Vyacheslav Abroskin congratulated the participants on the holiday: “This day is special for first-year students, because it symbolizes the beginning of a new stage in life. Learn, purposefully master knowledge, acquire the necessary skills, gain experience. I believe that you will all become worthy officers of the National Police of Ukraine, and we will do everything to make it work for you and your dreams come true. Happy holiday to you!”.
After the words of congratulations to the first-year students, Vyacheslav Abroskin handed the students a symbolic student card and a knowledge key.
On this day, congratulatory words on the occasion of the celebration of the Day of Knowledge and the beginning of the new academic year were heard from the faculty, the leadership of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Cybersecurity, senior students, as well as from representatives of the parent committee.
“Recently we were graduates of secondary schools, and now we stand in line as cadets of the Odessa State University of Internal Affairs. But the excitement continues to fill us, because mastering all the subtleties of police activity is still ahead, and we promise that we will do everything to gain new knowledge and new experience,” said Danylo Polishwaiko, a cadet of the faculty of training specialists for criminal police units.
“I want to congratulate all those present on the Day of Knowledge, and the first-year students with admission to the Odessa State University of Internal Affairs. Our perseverance has helped us realize our dream. And now we are already standing on the beach and believe that the years of study will be unforgettable. I wish all cadets inspiration, strength and health. Let this key become for you a symbol of faith in yourself and your strength,” said Karina Dedova, a cadet of the faculty of training specialists for pre-trial investigation bodies.
It was also traditional to present from university graduates to first-year cadets a chronicle of outstanding dates and achievements of the Odessa State University of Internal Affairs, which has been conducted since the foundation of our famous educational institution.
Further, for exemplary performance of official duties, personal initiative and dedication, high professionalism of teachers and employees of the university was encouraged by departmental awards.
We congratulate everyone on the beginning of the school year and wish perseverance and patience, wisdom and understanding on the way to conquering new heights!
