A modern sports complex was opened in the National Guard Academy

In the National Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine, a sports complex was put into operation. The event is timed to the Day of Physical Culture and Sports of Ukraine.

The symbolic ribbon was cut by the head of the National Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Serhiy Sokolovsky, and representatives of the Joint Operational and Tactical Group of the Armed Forces of Canada in Ukraine (Operation UNIFIER).

“The degree of development, and therefore the career growth of a serviceman, depends on better physical training. In the National Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine, much attention is paid to increasing the level of self-organization of cadets to physical training. The new sports complex is equipped according to modern requirements. Therefore, I wish all guards to develop their physical abilities in a new place,” said Lieutenant General Serhiy Sokolovsky.

The complex is designed to develop cadets skills in various types of martial arts and crossfit.

From now on, the Academy has a modern sports complex with a total area of 398.65 m2. The complex includes a gymnastic area with a total area of 93.5 m2. There is a place for a dovetail with a total area of 92.82 m2. The complex has a boxing ring, a place for simulators for functional endurance (rowing machine - 3 pieces and an exercise bike - 2 pieces), a place for lining up and holding a preparatory part with personnel.
