At Boryspil airport, a smuggler from Latin America was detained who transported a batch of cocaine worth UAH 11.5 million
So, at the checkpoint “Boryspil”, in the general passenger flow of the flight “Doha-Kiev”, law enforcement officers found a Turkish citizen who arrived from Brazil in transit through Doha.
Operators of the GORV of the separate checkpoint “Kyiv” together with the employees of the Kyiv Customs and Security Service of Ukraine, as a result of the implementation of information received from law enforcement agencies of neighboring states, stopped the attempt to smuggle drugs from Latin America to Ukraine.
So, at the checkpoint “Boryspil”, in the general passenger flow of the flight “Doha-Kiev”, law enforcement officers found a Turkish citizen who arrived from Brazil in transit through Doha.
After passing the border control, operational officers together with representatives of Kyiv Customs and SBU conducted an inspection of the foreigner's luggage, according to the results of which the narcotic substance cocaine with a total weight of 2.8 kg was found in the walls of the suitcase.
On this fact, a notice was sent to enter data into the ERDR under Art. 305 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Smuggling of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their analogues or precursors or counterfeit medicines”.
