A plane with evacuated citizens from Afghanistan landed at the airport “Boryspil”: Ukrainian military also returned home

Under the coordination of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, a military transport plane of the Armed Forces Air Forces arrived at Boryspil International Airport this morning.
The aircraft provided the evacuation of citizens from Afghanistan. On board were 83 passengers, including citizens of Ukraine and foreigners who asked for help. In particular, 12 Ukrainians who were stranded at a military base near Kabul returned to their homeland. Foreign journalists and public figures were also rescued.
The Head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine was also present at the Boryspil checkpoint for the meeting of the aircraft. He organized border control measures of citizens and their proper registration.
