The government has replaced the head of the State Migration Service of Ukraine
Today, September 29, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dismissed Maxim Sokolyuk, the head of the State Migration Service. He has headed the department since December 2015. The duties of the head of the DMSU will temporarily be performed by Natalia Naumenko, the first deputy head of the Migration Service.
Minister of Internal Affairs Denis Monastyrsky visited the apparatus of the State Migration Service of Ukraine, which is part of the structure of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. He thanked Maxim Sokoliuk for his fruitful cooperation and stressed that during his almost 6 years of work in the migration field a lot of useful and necessary changes have been made. The Minister noted the high level of digitization of the service, namely the active development of electronic services of the DMS.
In addition, Denis Monastyrsky said that changing the team and new faces in the service is a normal process.
