In addition, a driver's license can now be obtained with the help of a national postal operator or courier. This decision was made today, September 15, during the regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.

“We are talking about ensuring the right to a distance form of training for drivers using a unified information system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. And regarding the possibility of obtaining a driver's license through the electronic office of the driver using postal means”, - said the Minister of Internal Affairs Denis Monastyrsky.

According to the Government decree, from now on, training, retraining and further training of drivers is possible online. In particular, the accredited institution must inform the nearest territorial service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs that it plans to train remotely, when it registers the list of the group in the unified state register of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Distance learning on the theoretical training of drivers should be carried out for groups of no more than 10 people. If the institution loses accreditation, then online training is suspended.

In addition, it is possible to obtain at the request of the person ordered through the driver's electronic account or the “Action” application certificates using the means of a national postal operator or courier. In the context of a pandemic caused by the acute respiratory disease COVID-19, this minimizes contacts with other people and is therefore the safest way to obtain documents. The project is implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Resources, the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and SE “Infotech”.
