During the past week, the units of the National Emergency Service rescued 46 people and eliminated more than a thousand fires
During the past week, units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine made trips to carry out emergency prevention measures, prompt response to incidents and eliminate their consequences, extinguish fires, and carry out other rescue measures.
Since the beginning of the week, 1 thousand 734 emergency events have been registered, to which the response of the units of the State Emergency Service has been ensured with their departure to the place of their occurrence. As a result of the measures taken, 46 people were saved.
1 thousand 183 fires were eliminated, 13 people were saved in the fires and 354 buildings and 65 vehicles were not destroyed by fire. 8 people died in the fires, estimated damages, according to operational data, amount to 3 million 519 thousand UAH.
During the week, the pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service carried out 199 sorties, during which 1 thousand 301 explosive objects were discovered, seized and destroyed.
During the week, 90 people died in water bodies.
