Last week, the National Emergency Service rescued 68 people and eliminated 2,223 fires
During the past week (from 26.07 to 01.08) units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine carried out trips to carry out emergency prevention measures, prompt response to events and eliminate their consequences, extinguish fires, carry out other rescue measures.
2,866 emergency events were registered, to which the emergency services units responded with the departure to the place of their occurrence. As a result of the measures taken, 68 people were saved.
2,223 fires were eliminated, 36 people were saved in the fires and 431 buildings and 40 units of equipment were not destroyed by fire. Nine people died in the fires. Estimated losses, according to operational data, amount to 8 million 567 thousand UAH.
During the week, the pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service carried out 342 sorties, during which 4,138 explosive objects were detected, seized and destroyed.
73 people died in water bodies.
