Ukrainian border guards study European experience in ensuring detention of detained offenders
The border guards involved in the protection and convoying of detained persons continue to receive practical skills from their Polish colleagues on the procedure for dealing with foreigners and stateless persons detained in places of deprivation of liberty.
After a ten-day theoretical training last year at the Specialized Training Center of the Border Guard of the Republic of Poland in the city. Bialystok, the best graduates of this center got the opportunity to apply the acquired knowledge in practice. During the week, two defenders of Ukrainian borders took part in the practical activities of two Protected Centers for Detention of Foreigners of the Polish Border Guard (one family type and one for men).
It should be noted that this year, with the assistance of Polish colleagues, another 20 Ukrainian border guards will undergo similar training and will have the opportunity to practice in guarding and escorting detained persons, taking into account European standards.
