Ukrainian patrolmen successfully completed the course on training tactical groups of patrol police
Today, 21 August, 42 patrolmen successfully completed the training course of tactical groups of the patrol police The tactical training course was initiated and conducted by the Department of Patrol Police with the support of the Law Enforcement Department
of the Embassy of Ukraine in the USA and the ISITAR program in Ukraine.
The training was conducted by instructors on tactical support of the patrol police, who had previously acquired relevant experience from American colleagues. Police officers mastered the tactics of working indoors, attacking vehicles, pre-medical and fire training
, techniques of hand-to-hand combat. The participants learned theoretical knowledge in practice.
Conditions are as close as possible to the real ones. The final stage of the course was an exam and demonstration of acquired skills.
Today, 42 TOR patrol police companies from Kyiv, Kharkiv, Sumy, Lviv, Nikolaev and Rivne received certificates of completion of the course on training tactical groups of patrol police.
The head of the Patrol Police Department Yevgeny Zhukov congratulated them on the successful completion of the exercises: “I am proud that we have such a unit. You will have serious and dangerous detentions, challenges. Always improve and train to be in shape and perform the tasks perfectly.”
US Embassy Law Enforcement Officer Frank Herbert also congratulated the police officers on this important career step: “I myself have spent many years in the ranks of various US police structures and know how hard work it is. First of all, I wish you personal safety. Take care of yourself and the people you work with.”
