Three policemen were fired in Zaporizhzhia according to the results of the official investigation
The facts of illegal actions of police officers, published on the Internet, were confirmed in terms of the illegal application of police preventive measures and coercion measures to a resident of the city. By order of the head of the GUNP, violators are dismissed from police service. Strict disciplinary sanctions have been applied to their managers.
At the end of November 2021, a video was published on the Internet, in which its author told about the illegal actions of employees of the Zaporizhzhya district police department in the form of beating and humiliation of a resident of the city, citizen R.
On the basis of the order of the head of the police of the Zaporizhzhya region, the disciplinary commission of the GUNP in the Zaporizhzhya region conducted an official investigation, during which the information specified in the publication was confirmed in terms of illegal application of police measures to a citizen.
Thus, the investigation established that police officers unlawfully stopped the vehicle driven by citizen R., then unreasonably delivered it to the premises of the Zaporizhzhya district police department and illegally applied physical influence and special means to the man.
On the basis of the conclusions of the official investigation, for committing disciplinary offenses and violating a number of articles of the Law of Ukraine “On the National Police”, Oaths and other revealed facts of violation of discipline, three employees of Zaporizhzhya RUP were dismissed from police service.
In addition, for the lack of control over the official activities of subordinates and improper organization of work, up to five police officers from among the leadership of the district administration, severe disciplinary sanctions were applied.
The results of the official investigation were transferred to the Territorial Department of the SBI in Melitopol.
