In “Yagodin” border guards found smuggled dietary supplements worth more than 1 million hryvnias
In the truck, which was followed from abroad, the soldiers of the Volyn detachment together with the customs officers found goods that were not specified in the shipping documents.
At the crossing point “Yagodin” border guards, taking into account the risks of possible illegal importation of goods into Ukraine, initiated an in-depth inspection of the Renault truck, which transported medicines from Latvia to Ukraine.
According to the results of a joint inspection with customs officers and a complete recalculation of the goods, almost 9 thousand units of dietary supplements were found, which were not listed in the accompanying documents.
The discovered goods were seized by employees of the State Customs Service, its value was more than 1 million hryvnias.
