A batch of jewelry was seized in “Yagodin”

In Volyn, border guards and customs officers prevented the illegal movement of jewelry made of precious metals across the Ukrainian-Polish border.
A 29-year-old Volyn resident tried to import gold and silver products to Ukraine through the “Yagodin” checkpoint. During the inspection of his car, the border inspection team found packages of jewels in the luggage compartment and under the driver's seat of the Mercedes. In total, the man transported more than 10 kilograms of silver and gold jewelry made in Russia, including earrings, rings, pendants, chains, etc.
Jewellery from the traveler was seized. The cost of jewelry will be established by appropriate expertise.
