The KhNUV discussed topical issues of the “Community Police Officer” project

Today, October 2, after the celebrations on the occasion of the graduation of trainees of the specialization courses of district police officers assigned to the police stations of territorial communities, a working meeting took place.

It was attended by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Kateryna Pavlichenko, Deputy Head of the National Police General of the Third Rank Police Oleksandr Facevych, First Vice-Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Colonel Dmytro Shvets, Head of the GUNP in Kharkiv Oblast Stanislav Pereslav Attorney for U.S. Embassy in Ukraine Christina Quinn, Head of the Law Enforcement Division at the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine Sarah Langenkamp, Program Manager, U.S. Embassy in Ukraine Oleg Savchin, Deputy Director of the ISITAR program in Ukraine Tim Yanovik, as well as the heads of the territorial communities — Mykola Semeryanov and Chkalov settlement community Viktor Solovyov.

There was a constructive conversation about the project “Community Police Officer”. Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Kateryna Pavlichenko thanked all those present for their participation in the implementation of this important project for society. The participants of the event stressed the need for its continuation and outlined the promising directions of development.

“Thanks to our partners, the US Embassy in Ukraine and ISITAP, thanks to which this project can be implemented and scaled up. “Community Police Officer” lays fundamentally new foundations for interaction between law enforcement agencies and the population: trust, support and mutual assistance,” said Kateryna Pavlichenko.

Recall that today the KhNUVS held the third edition of community police officers.
