In Kherson, the police reported on suspicion of official negligence to the former director of one of the state-owned enterprises
During the forensic construction and technical examination, the police found out that the former director of the enterprise concluded an agreement with LLC for construction work for a total amount of about 5 million hryvnias.
During the investigation, the police found that the acts of acceptance of the performed works included knowingly excessive costs for the performance of works, excessive amounts of materials used and the excessive cost of building materials during the performance of major repairs for the total amount of UAH 1,406 149.
In accordance with Part 2 of Article 367 (Civil Service Negligence) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, this provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of 2 to 5 years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a period of up to three years and with a fine of 250 to 750 non-taxable minimums income of citizens or without it. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
