A group that intimidated and destroyed people's property was detained in Kharkiv — the internal security of the National Police
In order to avoid criminal prosecution or punishment for committed crimes, criminals in Kharkiv region “ordered” their executors to “work” with certain employees of law enforcement agencies. The attackers sent messages to police and judges with threats of massacre, as a warning - stuck an ax in a car or even burned a law-enforcement vehicle. The same fate awaited entrepreneurs who refused to pay tribute to business profits.
The operatives of the Kharkiv Department of the Internal Security Department of NPU together with the detectives of the Kharkiv Police Investigative Department exposed an organized group involved in a number of crimes, in particular — encroachment on the lives of law enforcement officers and destruction of their property.
The participants of this group are previously convicted residents of Kharkiv region, aged 36 to 47 years. Accomplices carried out orders, receiving instructions from influential people in criminal circles aimed at intimidating police, court and commercial workers.
Among those who were on the ordered list is the senior police commissioner for particularly important cases of the Strategic Investigations Department in Kharkiv region. It is known that the conspirators were going to eliminate the policeman, but decided to intimidate first. In the middle of the night, the attackers visited the house where the law enforcement officer lived, found his parked Skoda Octavia car and stuck an ax into the roof of the car. Subsequently, a message with threats of physical abuse was sent to the police officer's phone.
The members of the group and the property of a family of entrepreneurs, who refused to give part of the profits from the business to local criminals, were damaged. The result of the revenge is two burnt-out cars - the Land Cruiser 200 and the Infiniti FX 37.
She was paid for refusing clemency and was a judge of one of the courts of Kharkov. First, on the street, the woman was slapped in the face with a “green woman”. And after she did not make the necessary court decision for the criminals, they set fire to her car - MAZDA CX-7, completely destroying it.
With the physical support of the fighters of the Rapid Response Department of the NPU and the special purpose police company EAST, the internal security operatives of the National Police and the detectives of the Kharkiv police conducted 14 sanctioned searches of the defendants of the exposed group.
Under the procedural guidance of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, 36 and 47-year-old men were announced on suspicion of encroachment on the life of a law enforcement officer by a group of persons (Part 1 of Article 14, Part 2 of Article 28, Article 348 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Two more accomplices, 36 and 38 years old, were charged with suspicion of destruction of property by a group of persons (Part 2 of Article 28, Part 2 of Article 194 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The court has already chosen a precautionary measure for three suspects in the form of detention, two of them — without the right to post bail.
A further investigation is underway aimed at identifying the perpetrators of crimes and other members of the exposed group in order to bring them to criminal responsibility.
