Zaporozhye police officers responded to more than 90 calls about domestic violence during Easter holidays
According to the results of the audit, 21 facts of domestic violence were confirmed. Administrative materials were compiled in relation to 18 offenders. In order to immediately stop and prevent the facts of domestic violence, police officers issued 22 urgent prohibition orders.
During the Easter holidays, employees of mobile groups for responding to domestic violence of the GUNP in the Zaporizhzhya region responded to more than 90 reports.
According to the results of the audit, 21 facts of domestic violence were confirmed. In relation to 18 offenders, administrative materials were compiled under Art. 173-2 (Committing domestic violence, gender-based violence, failure to comply with an urgent prohibition order or failure to notify the place of one's temporary stay) KUPAP, including two persons brought to administrative responsibility for violation of an urgent prohibition order. In order to immediately stop and prevent the facts of domestic violence, police officers issued 22 urgent prohibition orders.
For example, on May 2, about 12 o'clock, employees of the mobile group received a call from a resident of the Voznesenivsky district of the city of Zaporizhia about systematic domestic violence by a roommate. Law enforcement found that the man, born in 1982, had been committing psychological and physical violence against the applicant for a long time. Regarding the offender, the police compiled administrative materials under Art. 173-2 (Committing domestic violence, gender-based violence, failure to comply with an urgent prohibition order or failure to notify the place of his temporary stay) KUPAP and issued an urgent prohibition order for a period of 10 days, and the victim was explained the norms of the current legislation and sent to the Center for Social Services to get psychological help.
On the same day, workers of the mobile response group to the facts of domestic violence in the city of Berdyansk received a report of a conflict between the spouses on Italianska Street. The police established that the man, being in a state of alcoholic intoxication, provoked a conflict situation with his wife. Upon the arrival of police officers, he began to resist. In relation to the 37-year-old family deboshir, law enforcement officers compiled administrative materials under Art. 173 (Committing domestic violence, gender-based violence, failure to comply with an urgent prohibition order or failure to notify the place of one's temporary stay) of the KUPap and Art. 185 (Malicious disobedience to a legal order or requirement of a police officer, a member of a public organization for the protection of public order and the state border, a military officer) of the KUPAP, as well as an urgent prohibition order for a period of 10 days was issued.
On May 3, at 20:20 employees of mobile groups received a message from a resident of the Khortytsky district of the city of Zaporizhia. Arriving at the scene, the law enforcement officers established that the roommate systematically insulted and humiliated the applicant's daughter, born in 2010. On this basis, a verbal conflict arose between a man and a woman, which escalated into a fight. According to the results of the check on the offender, an administrative protocol under Article 173-2 (Committing domestic violence, gender-based violence, failure to comply with an urgent prohibition order or failure to notify the place of his temporary stay) was drawn up and an urgent prohibition order was issued for a period of 5 days.
