The deputy head of one of the departments of the Kyiv Oblast State Administration was detained in the capital — he demanded 10 thousand dollars of illegal benefits
Previously, the official worked in the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine. He demanded 10 thousand US dollars of illegal benefits from a representative of a commercial structure. The defendant was informed of the suspicion.
Yesterday, April 15, in the center of Kyiv, operatives of the Department of Strategic Investigations in Lviv Oblast with law enforcement colleagues detained the deputy head of the department of the Kyiv Regional State Administration during the transfer of funds. For this money, the attacker promised the representative of the commercial structure to contribute to the positive results of the check on compliance with antitrust legislation.
The agreed amount of ill-gotten gains was seized on the spot. The defendant is detained in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. Pre-trial investigation is carried out by the investigators of the GUNP in Lviv region

The official was informed of suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 369-2 (abuse of influence) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. A man may face punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of three to eight years with confiscation of property.
