In the capital, the procession of believers ended without violations of public order
More than 55,000 citizens took part in the religious event. No offenses have been recorded, but law enforcement officers continue to serve in an enhanced version.
Recall that today in the capital there was a procession dedicated to the 1033rd anniversary of the Baptism of Kievan Rus. To ensure public safety and order during religious events, all units of the Kiev police, National Guard servicemen, employees of the State Emergency Service and troops of other regions were involved. More than 55,000 believers took part in the event.
As of 16:30 the planned mass events were completed without any violations of public order. Police officers will continue to monitor law and order on the streets of the city.
