In the capital, law enforcement officers intervened to protect law and order
On the occasion of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Independence Day of Ukraine, about 10,000 policemen and soldiers of the National Guard in a reinforced regime will monitor public security in the city of Kiev.
In the morning, explosives service specialists and dog handlers checked the locations where the events will take place. In places of mass stay of citizens, patrols, dialogue police and volunteer forces, which arrived in the capital as part of consolidated detachments, are on duty.
Law enforcers urge Kyiv residents and guests of the capital to treat with understanding the work of police officers at the filtration points at the entrance to the events. In particular, to surface inspections, since such measures are aimed at ensuring the safety of all participants in the celebrations.
In addition, the police urge citizens and drivers of vehicles to plan their routes taking into account the traffic restrictions in the city of Kiev.
