During the celebration of Easter and May holidays, rescuers switch to an enhanced mode of service
For the period of celebration of Easter and May holidays, the units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine switch to a strengthened mode of service and are ready to respond to any emergencies of a man-made and natural nature.
In particular, in each region of the country, the places of mass events have been clarified, monitoring of fire safety at potentially dangerous objects and objects of state importance has been strengthened, preventive work is carried out with the population on actions in case of emergency situations.
From 9 a.m. on May 01 to 9 a.m. on May 05, cooperation with local authorities, territorial bodies of the National Police of Ukraine, regional civil protection services on the provision of man-made and fire safety at facilities involved in the celebration of Easter celebrations and in the case of joint Easter celebrations was organized actions in the event of emergencies and dangerous events. Also, enhanced monitoring of the fire situation at facilities with a mass of people is carried out. Rescuers inspected all religious buildings, and the inspectorate conducted firefighting briefings with clergy.
In total, about 7 thousand personnel and 2 thousand units of rescue and special equipment, as well as pyrotechnic calculations, will be on duty.
The aviation of the State Emergency Service, in particular 8 aircraft, is also ready for use to ensure the response to emergencies and emergencies.
