The National Police appointed the first deputy head of the department and the head of the DSR

The first deputy head of the National Police - the head of the criminal police was the police general of the third rank Mikhail Kuznetsov. The Department of Strategic Investigations of the National Police was headed by Police Colonel Valentin Kopayev.

Personnel changes took place today, August 20. Mikhail Kuznetsov has been working in the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for more than 20 years, before his appointment as the first deputy chairman - the head of the Criminal Police was the head of the Department of Operational and Technical Measures of the National Police.

Mikhail Kuznetsov took a direct part in the anti-terrorist operation in the east of Ukraine, received the status of a participant in hostilities. Organized the work of radio control posts on the territory of Donetsk, Luhansk regions, the deployment of forces and means of the consolidated detachments of units of operational and technical measures in the area of the ATO, and also ensured the coordination of their activities.

Thanks to the operational information received by Mikhail Kuznetsov and the taking of timely measures during several large-scale special operations, it was possible to prevent significant losses of manpower, weapons and vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard of Ukraine.

In this position, he was engaged in the organization and direct disclosure of serious and especially serious crimes, including crimes against the foundations of national security of Ukraine.

Also by order of the head of the National Police to the post of head of the Department of Strategic Investigations, police colonel Valentyn Kopayev was appointed. Prior to this appointment, he worked as the head of the Department of Operational and Technical Measures of the National Police of Ukraine.
