The National Guard identified the best marksmen from automatic rifle, pistol and practical shooting

During two days at the general military training ground of the International Center of NGU in Kyiv region, the guards competed for the title of the best marksmen in automatic rifle, pistol and practical shooting in the National Guard. 17 teams from different parts of the National Guard of Ukraine demonstrated their skills in eight exercises with Applied and practical shooting from combat weapons. On the second day, the conditions for the exercises were hampered by rapid movement to the firing line and increasing the distance to the target.

“The conditions for conducting exercises should be as close as possible to combat ones. Endurance, speed, physical toughness, psychological endurance, accuracy — these are the qualities that are needed by the National Guardsmen today during the performance of their service and combat tasks,” said the chief judge of the Championship during the competition, the Head of the Physical Training Department of the Department of Vocational Training of the Main Directorate of the National Directorate Colonel Andriy Meleshko of the Guard of Ukraine.

All winners of the competition were presented with cups, certificates and commemorative plaques. And from the honorary guests of the championship Lyubov Cheshko, the chairman of the Voronkivsk settlement council and Oleg Petrov, the president of the National Federation of Practical Shooting of Ukraine and the head of the Ibis company, Romas Grunskis, there is also modern military equipment and valuable gifts. The participants of the artistic performance of the International Center were congratulated on the completion of the Guards Championship by Lieutenant Colonel Viktor Voskoboev and Junior Sergeant Elena Hobta.
