As of today, in the National Guard of Ukraine, 63% of personnel have received the first vaccination against COVID-19, and 24% have completed vaccination (received two doses).

Vaccination remains one of the effective means of counteracting the spread of COVID19. This process continues both in the cities where the military units of the NGU are located, and in the area of the PLO.

“We are doing our best to ensure that everyone who has expressed a desire can be vaccinated. More than 60% of our servicemen received their first vaccination. In general, there is a clear trend towards a decrease in the number of diseases among the personnel. At the moment, there are no cases of complications or deterioration of health after vaccinations. Considering the significant volume of service and combat tasks, the issue of maintaining the health of personnel, as well as the development of collective immunity, is quite fundamental,” said Colonel-General Mykola Balan.

Recall: Vaccination against COVID19 is voluntary and in the National Guard of Ukraine began in March 2021. It is carried out mainly in health institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Mobile medical teams from these institutions have also been organized, which carry out vaccinations on site at specially equipped points.
