The Ministry of Internal Affairs approved recommendations on the functional duties of the security specialist in the educational environment and the requirements for candidates for the position - Kateryna Pavlichenko
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine at the meeting of the working group, within the framework of the implementation of the “Security Educator” project, approved recommendations on the functional duties of the security specialist in the educational environment, the procedure for selection and requirements for candidates for the position.
The working group included not only representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, NPU, SNS, but also the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, the State Service for the Quality of Education of Ukraine, the Ministry of Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine, the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine, NGOs and the Educational Ombudsman of Ukraine.
Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Kateryna Pavlichenko noted that the powers of the specialist on safety in the educational environment include taking measures to prevent, early detection, stop and eliminate negative phenomena and their harmful effects on the safety of students, urgent information about such phenomena of competence the subject of interaction.
Also at the meeting of the working group, it was agreed that the specialist in safety in the educational environment, within the framework of the pilot project, will be a local government official who will work in the executive body of the rural, village, city council and regional state administration, whose activities are aimed at creating and maintaining the proper the level of safety in the educational environment, ensuring the organization and participation in the implementation of coordinated measures for the prevention, early detection, cessation and elimination of negative phenomena and their harmful consequences.
An unconditional component and a prerequisite for candidates for the position of such a specialist will be the completion of special training (specialized training) on the basis of higher education institutions belonging to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
The training program of the security specialist will be coordinated with the key state authorities: the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the NPU, the State Emergency Service and the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Recall that on November 11, the pilot project “Educator of Safety” was launched in Ukraine.
