Collective training of National Guard sappers continues at the International Center
In the Training Center for the Training of Units of the International Center of the National Guard, collective training of specialists in engineering military-accounting specialties continues. This time, sappers from the military units of the Northern and Western Operational and Territorial Associations will improve their skills. The head of the operational support department of the Department of Application Planning of the Main Directorate of the National Guard, Colonel Oleksandr Tsikra, arrived
at the beginning of the course of training engineers. He congratulated the guards on the professional holiday Engineering Troops Day and presented the departmental award “For demining” to one of the participants of the course with the nickname Fugas.
“I am convinced that the soldiers — engineers of the National Guard will continue to be a model of selfless service to Ukraine, an example of fulfilling the military duty to improve engineering support, both law enforcement and military component of the National Guard. I wish you all good health, happiness, inexhaustible energy and new achievements for the benefit of Ukraine,” said Colonel Oleksandr Tsikra. Within a month, the guards in the detachment master the fortification equipment of positions and control points for their camouflage and protection from
VTZ, laying of column roads, arranging crossings through various obstacles, installation of engineering barriers and minefields, equipment of water supply points.
During the training, the focus will be on the actions of servicemen precisely as part of the unit. Classes will be held both during the day and at night and as close as possible to combat conditions using engineering equipment and special equipment.
