In Lviv, police detained an intruder who gave a false report about a train wreck
Investigators of the police department No. 1 of the Lviv district police department No. 2 informed the detainee, a 22-year-old resident of the Rivne region, about the suspicion of committing a crime. For his actions, he faces punishment - up to 6 years in prison.
An anonymous report about the breakdown of the train by the Dnipro-Ivano-Frankivsk connection was received by the police on January 8 around 20.00. On the territory of Kirovograd region, law enforcement officers, in particular explosives specialists, dog handlers and employees of other services, examined the moving warehouse - no explosive or suspicious objects were found.
By the measures taken, the criminal police officers of the police department No. 1 of the Lviv district police department No. 2 established that a 22-year-old resident of the Rivne region provided a false report about the mining and detained him in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. Soon the court will choose a preventive measure for the detainee.
Investigators of the territorial police unit informed the offender about the suspicion of committing a criminal offense provided for in Part 1 of Art. 259 (Knowingly false report of a threat to the safety of citizens, destruction or damage to property objects) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for punishment - imprisonment for a term of two to six years. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
