Four police stations opened in the resort areas of the Kherson region
The holiday season has started in the Kherson region, which for the second year in a row will operate with certain quarantine restrictions. For the safety of holidaymakers, maintenance of public order and the prevention of crime in the resort areas of the region, four police stations have started their work.
According to preliminary data, more than 4 million vacationers will come to improve their health on the coast of the Black and Azov Seas. Therefore, in the resort areas, the police will work in a reinforced mode in compliance with all quarantine requirements. 4 police stations: Zaliznyi Port, Lazurne, Horly and Arabatskaya Strelka will operate throughout the holiday season.
“The main task of the police during the holiday season is to ensure the safety of vacationers, to prevent the commission of offenses, to respond qualitatively and in a timely manner to all reports of citizens. With personnel, briefings and structural inspections were conducted, all aimed at the conscientious performance of official duties. We will make every effort so that vacationers and local residents feel safe and in any situation can receive high-quality and qualified assistance from the police,” said Oleksandr Prokudin, the chief of police of the Kherson region.
Four police stations are already working around the clock, about 400 law enforcement officers are on duty every day. On duty — employees of the duty unit, the investigator-operational group, the patrol police response group and district officers who carry out the reception of citizens. Pedestrians, cars and bicycle patrols intervene to protect public order. Law enforcement officers pay increased attention to monitoring compliance with quarantine requirements. Joint SOVID-patrols of police officers and employees of other services will operate. They will fight against spontaneous trade, check compliance with quarantine requirements by the owners of boarding houses and hotels.
Water safety is monitored by employees of the police sector on the water, who patrol the waters of resort areas on service boats.
