For the first time, a practical shooting tournament was held in Kyiv among the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine
During two days, June 1 and 2, the first practical shooting tournament “Cup of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine” was held on the basis of the National Academy of Internal Affairs of Ukraine among higher education institutions belonging to the sphere of management of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The ceremony of awarding was attended by Rector of the National Academy of Internal Affairs, Police General of the Second Rank Volodymyr CHERNYI, Director of the Personnel Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Colonel of Police Gennady DOSKEVICH, First Deputy Director of the Department of Personnel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Colonel Gennady DOSKEVICH, First Deputy Director of the Department of Personnel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Police Officer Anton SYZONENKO, Chairman of the Tournament Organizing Committee Vice-Rector Police Colonel Ruslan SERBIN and President of the All-Ukrainian Federation of Practical and High Precision Shooting Regional Director of the ICPS of Ukraine Oleksandr MILUKOV.
56 participants took part in the competition. Their teams at the tournament presented:
- team of Dnipropetrovsk State University of Internal Affairs; - team of Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs;
- team of Luhansk State University of Internal Affairs named after E.
O.
Didorenko;
- team of Lviv State University of Internal Affairs; - team of National Academy of Internal Affairs;
- team of Odessa State University of Internal Affairs; - team of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
On June 1-2, a practical shooting tournament “Cup of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine” was held on the basis of the National Academy of Internal Affairs.
According to the results of intense confrontation, the winners among higher education institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were:
1st place - National Academy of Internal Affairs.
2nd place of seeding - Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.
He won the 3rd place - Donetsk State University of Internal Affairs. ▼Dmytro Lutsaka,

Practical shooting has been developing as the most dynamic and applied sport shooting in Ukraine for more than 15 years. Participation in such competitions is one of the stages of educational and training work and practical direction of training police officers, a component of improving their professional skills and qualities, which are extremely necessary in the performance of official duties. Thus, endurance to large neuropsychological loads is hardened, stress resistance and combat qualities are formed.
