“In Kyiv, police detained a man who escaped from the custody of the Irpin City Court”, - Andriy Kryshchenko
A special police operation was conducted on the territory of Kyiv and Kyiv region. The offender has been arrested today.
It is established that the man committed a criminal offense provided for in Part 1 of Art. 187 (Robbery) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. On Friday, the attacker escaped from the custody of the Irpin City Court. The personnel and uniforms of the police of Kiev and Kyiv region were immediately focused on the search for the offender.
According to the head of the capital's head Andriy Kryshchenko, a special police operation was introduced on the territory of the capital and the region to search and detain the criminal:
“Today, on his day off, a special agent of the Kiev police saw a man similar in description. A law enforcement officer detained him, called a police outfit and an investigative task force to help. At the moment, the offender has been transferred to colleagues from the Kyiv region for investigative actions.”
