In Kyiv, police officers have exposed a Kharkiv woman who sold drugs all over the country — Andriy Kryshchenko

The attacker received orders with the help of a telegram channel, after which she sold drugs through bookmarks or by mail. During urgent investigative actions, narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances totaling about UAH 3,000,000 were seized.

While patrolling the territory of Podolsk district, security police officers on Gazovodnaya Street noticed a suspicious woman and stopped for inspection, during which they found packages with drugs in her bag. To document the incident, an investigative task force was called to the scene.

Kyiv Police Chief Andriy Kryshchenko said that the offender was a 32-year-old native of Kharkiv, who set up the sale of drugs by bookmarking or sending by mail, the order of which she received on the Telegram channel:

“During urgent investigative actions at the place of residence of the woman, we seized 20 grams of cocaine, 20 grams of the psychotropic substance Ketamine, about 1900 ecstasy tablets, 550 brands of LSD, 1.5 kilograms of amphetamine, 1 kilogram of mephedrone and 2 kilograms of cannabis. In addition, mobile phones, computer equipment and electronic media have been removed. Everything seized is sent to carry out appropriate examinations.”

The Investigative Department of the Podolsk Police Department opened criminal proceedings under Part 3 of Art. 307 (Illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues in particularly large quantities) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for up to twelve years imprisonment with confiscation of property.

“The defendants were informed of the suspicion of committing a crime and investigators prepared a petition to the court to choose a preventive measure in the form of detention. Currently, we are identifying other persons involved in this criminal activity,” added Andriy Kryshchenko.
