In Dnipro, police detained a man who threatened to blow up a house
During a surface inspection, law enforcement officers found an F-1 grenade in the detainee.
A report of the incident was received by the police on May 12 around 10 am. According to the applicant, the man locked himself in the apartment of an acquaintance on the ground floor on the Heroiv Avenue of the city of Dnipro and threatened to blow up the house.
Police Department No. 5, explosives and emergency personnel immediately went to the scene. With the strong support of special officers of the KORD department, law enforcement officers detained a 43-year-old previously convicted local resident. As it turned out, the man hid in the balcony basement, where he was discovered by law enforcement officers. The offender was taken to the police station to find out all the circumstances of the case.
At the moment, investigators are deciding on the arrest of the man in accordance with Art. 208 Code of Criminal Procedure and initiation of criminal proceedings under Art. 263 (illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Investigative actions are ongoing.
