In Dnipro, police detained a foreigner wanted by Interpol
The man was internationally wanted for fraud and other crimes in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Employees of the criminal police of the Dnieper district police department established the whereabouts of a 30-year-old foreigner. The man was detained near one of the convenience stores in the Industrial District of the city. As it turned out, the Uzbek citizen was hiding from criminal responsibility and was under international wanted by Interpol since 2020.
On September 23, the investigating judge of the Industrial District Court of the city applied temporary arrest to the detainee to resolve the issue of his extradition and transfer to the competent authorities of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
