In Chernihiv, border guards exposed the illegal production of alcohol in large volumes
22 thousand liters of alcohol and other material evidence of illegal production of vodka products.
This is the result of sanctioned searches, which was conducted by law enforcement officers in the city. Chernihiv, at the place of storage and sale of counterfeit excisable products.
The events were held by a joint interdepartmental group consisting of operational staff of the Chernihiv Border Detachment and representatives of the Main Directorate of the State Fiscal Service in the city. Kyiv, under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office.
In total, during the illegal trafficking measures, law enforcement officers seized almost 22 thousand liters of a clear substance with a characteristic smell of alcohol, a cargo vehicle with an equipped semi-trailer for transporting alcohol, as well as equipment intended for “bottling” alcohol.
Discovered property and products of dubious quality were seized by representatives of the State Fiscal Service. Currently, measures are underway to establish channels for the supply of excisable products in the Chernihiv region and the circle of persons involved in illegal activities.
