Azerbaijani citizen was detained in Boryspil, who was wanted for drug trafficking

The foreigner was discovered by the border guards of the separate checkpoint “Kiev” during the departure to Turkey.
During the registration of passengers of the flight “Kyiv-Istanbul” for a citizen of Azerbaijan born in 1982, one of the databases of border guards worked.
It turned out that the man had been wanted for more than a week by law enforcement officers of Vinnytsia on suspicion of committing a crime stipulated in Part 2 of Art. 307 of the Criminal Code “Illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, shipment or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues”.
The detained foreigner was handed over to representatives of the National Police.
