The Academy of the State Border Guard Service held a solemn assembly on the occasion of the Day of Knowledge
Today, the National Academy of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine held a solemn ceremony on the occasion of the beginning of the new academic year and the Day of Knowledge.
At the beginning of the event, the participants honored with a minute of silence the memory of the Defenders of the Fatherland, who gave their lives for the independence and inviolability of the borders of their native country. Also, excellent students laid flowers at the monument to the outstanding Ukrainian writer, the classic of Ukrainian literature Taras Shevchenko.
On the Day of Knowledge and the beginning of classes, the staff of the Border University was congratulated by the Rector of the National Academy, Major General Alexander Lutsky. The rector thanked the scientific and pedagogical staff of the academy and the heads of structural units for their joint contribution to the development of the educational institution, for the treasure of knowledge that teachers, officers and mentors pass on to the new generation of guards of the state border. Also, with the beginning of classes, the head of the university congratulated the first-year cadets and wished them creative inspiration, perseverance and great patience. During the docking, the orders were proven and the newly appointed heads of faculties and departments were recommended to the staff of the academy. Immediately after the event, with a solemn march, the trainees and cadets of the border alma mater walked to the planned classes.
Recall that already this Saturday, September 4, the first-year students of the National Academy will take the Military Oath of Allegiance to the Ukrainian people. The ceremony will take place on the Independence Square of the city of Khmelnitsky.
