Extinguishing large-scale fires in Greece continues: Ukrainian rescuers help
During August 10, a combined detachment of the State Emergency Service of 100 people carried out work on the territory of North Evia, near the city. Camatriades: localized a low-level fire along the edge of about 4 thousand 500 m and eliminated individual foci on an area of 1.2 hectares. The top fire was localized on an area of 900 square meters. During the work, a detached residential building, 2 outbuildings, 13 hives, 23 hectares of olive and fig orchard were saved.

Recall that on August 6, a combined detachment of firefighters from all over the country arrived in Greece to help fight large-scale forest fires. To fulfill the task of the Head of State Volodymyr Zelensky and the decision of the Government, a hundred rescuers of the State Emergency Service with the necessary equipment took off from the airport “Kyiv”.
