Week of work of checkpoints in the area of the operation of the Joint Forces
By decision of the Joint Forces Operation Commander, all checkpoints are open for passage through the demarcation line. Checkpoints operate daily from 08.00 to 16.00.
However, traffic in most humanitarian road corridors is blocked from the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine. Of the seven open checkpoints, the daily pass is carried out only in “Stanytsya Luhanska”. Opposite the Novotroitske checkpoint, the occupiers unblock the movement twice a week — on Monday and Friday.
At the checkpoint “Stanytsia Luhanska” passenger traffic decreased by 30% compared to last week. During the week, 5,482 people followed this road corridor to the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine, and 4,671 people to the controlled territory.
At the checkpoint “Novotroitske”, 239 citizens and 40 vehicles crossed the demarcation line to the temporarily occupied part of Donetsk region, at the same time 267 citizens and 63 vehicles passed through the territory controlled by the Ukrainian authorities.
2 trucks from the International Committee of the Red Cross passed through the Checkpoint “Schastya”. For the needs of residents of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, medicines have been prepared. The total weight of humanitarian aid was almost 3 tons.
In addition, Russian mercenaries did not allow 20 citizens into the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine, border guards ensured their return to the controlled territory.
