Sumy region: active engineering of the border with the Russian Federation continues
Ensuring security at the state border largely depends on its proper arrangement. Particular attention is paid to the section of the Ukrainian-Russian border.
Complex engineering groups have been created, their primary task is the arrangement of anti-traffic barriers in threatening directions with the subsequent construction of other elements.
In particular, work continues within the Sumy region. They involve the equipment of the engineering units of the border patrol and other border guards.
In addition, special military engineering equipment is also involved to equip the border within the framework of the cooperation, which significantly enhances the work.
We also note that in accordance with the legislation and the decision of the National Security Council, the State Border Guard Service, together with the State Geocadastre and local self-government bodies, has intensified the work on inventory of land plots 30-50 meters wide along the state border line to be provided to the border agency bodies for construction and maintenance maintenance of engineering and fortification structures.
Proper arrangement of the state border has not only security, but also defense aspects. At the same time as increasing border security — reducing migration risk, danger of movement of terrorist means, weapons, drugs and goods. At the same time, fortification elements complicate the actions of the enemy in the event of armed aggression.
A comprehensive model of protection and protection of the state border is implemented in practice. The integrated system is based on a combination of engineering elements with technical means of control.
