Special agents of the National Guard identified the NZF participant from the temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk region
On June 20, operational information was received about the possible illegal movement of goods through the demarcation line near Stanytsia Luhanska. The interdepartmental group of the joint forces, which included special officers of the National Guard, discovered the fact of the offense on the spot and detained two citizens of Ukraine.
The suspects crossed the river Siverskyi Donets in a rubber boat, took food and auto parts from a pre-prepared stash and transported them to the territory not controlled by Ukraine on the same boat.
The relevant state bodies were informed about the fact for drawing up a protocol under Part 1 of Art. 204-3 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses. At the same time, during the verification of citizens on databases, it became known that one of the suspects served in an illegal armed formation in the temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk region. This fact was previously confirmed by the citizen. For further investigation, the person was handed over to police representatives.
