During the week, special forces undergoing basic training at the Training and Combat Center for Special Operations of the International Center of NGU made multi-kilometer crossings, lived autonomously in the forest, organized ambushes and destroyed the conditional enemy.

On the first day of the training field trip, according to legend, after parachuting by parachute, two groups of special forces, independently of each other, bypassing the settlements, went to the specified area. It is worth recalling that they did all this in a secret way.

Upon reaching their destination, the Guardsmen organized a camp where they spent the entire week simulating being in the enemy's rear, setting up a fire ambush, successfully destroying the conditional enemy, and working out the detachment from the enemy after the task had been completed.

“It was an important experience for me and the other special forces. We taught ourselves to the fullest in order to be ready for any actions and decisions in a real situation. During the rehearsal of the attack on the column and the storming of the building, we learned many new techniques from the instructors of the International Center,” said one of the participants of the course.

The next test for the young special forces was to overcome a water obstacle in full combat gear, which they carried out with the help of their riding gear, descending the rope and swimming. Also, the guards improved their skills in firing from the machine anti-tank grenade launcher (SPG-9) and the subbarrel grenade launcher.

“The cadets consolidated their skills in extreme conditions and tested themselves to the limit of their capabilities. The training field trip was successful and everyone saw their weaknesses and strengths. We still have something to work on,” said the head of the course, Colonel Konstantin Kornitsky.

Recall that this training field trip was only an intermediate stage in the training of special forces. After 2 weeks, they will receive a comprehensive field exit as an exam, in which they will show everything they have learned at the International Center.
