Special operation “Polissya”: units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs continue training in Rivne region
Numerous groups of parole violators who tried to illegally cross the Ukrainian-Belarusian border trained to deter security forces in Rivne region. Tactical and special exercises took place within the framework of the joint special operation “Polissya”.
The training took place under the direction of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine. It was attended by representatives of the departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Soldiers of military unit 3055 of the National Guard of Ukraine were also involved.
According to the legend of the exercises, employees of the State Border Service received information that several hundred people are moving on one of the highways in the territory of the Republic of Belarus, towards the Ukrainian border. The information was immediately reported to the Interregional Coordination Headquarters.
Deterrence groups, interpreters, negotiators, air monitoring specialists, rescuers and medics were immediately involved to confront the illegal migrants.
