Border guard dogs will for the first time become participants in the parade for the 30th anniversary of the Independence of Ukraine
This year, on August 24, for the first time in Kyiv border guards with service dogs will take part in a military parade.
Preparation of the ceremonial calculation of dog handlers and their four-legged companions has already begun on the basis of the Kennel Training Center of the State Border Service of Ukraine, located in Velyki Mosty in Lviv region.
33 dog breeders with service dogs were selected to participate in the parade, who will represent the border agency on the Independence Day of Ukraine. All the dogs that will participate in the parade are specialized in finding weapons and drugs and have already managed to prove themselves in the service.
It should be noted that this year for the first time four-legged assistants of border guards became in the mood together with their partners. Training at the Center will last until the end of the month, and then continue in Kyiv. Dogs should behave calmly, get used to the venue of the event, not react to strangers and other stimuli.
