“Smotryashcho” from the correctional colony in Kherson region and his accomplice were informed of suspicions that they supplied drugs to convicts
A native of Kyiv, who is serving a sentence in a colony for robbery, is also incriminated for establishing and spreading criminal influence.
It was established that together with the medical worker of the institution serving sentences, the “spotter” organized a channel for the supply of narcotic substances to the territory of the colony. The woman was in charge of receiving the finished “goods” in post offices and carried the drugs to the institution. The man, having authority among other prisoners, sold drug addicts “products”.
Operatives of the Directorate of Strategic Investigations in the Kherson region, together with the investigators of the regional police department and with the assistance of the employees of the colony, exposed the illegal drug supply channel.
Yesterday, May 26, the “spy” behind the correctional colony was informed of suspicion under Part 2 of Art. 255-1 (establishment or dissemination of criminal influence in a penal institution) and Part 2 of Art. 307 (illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, shipment or sale of nares drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — earlier under the same article, the medical workers of the correctional institution reported the suspicion.
