Investigators of the National Police reported suspicion to the heads of fictitious firms, to whose account 4.5 million hryvnias of state funds were received
The funds were transferred from the regional branch of “South Western Railway” JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia”, which were allocated for the repair and arrangement of the waiting area for passengers at the suburban railway station.
Investigators of the Main Investigative Department of the National Police of Ukraine, with the prompt support of the employees of the Department for the Protection of Public Interest and the State of the National Police, reported the suspicion of two directors of contracting firms of committing a criminal offense provided for in Part 2 of Art. 205-1 (Forgery of documents submitted for state registration of a legal entity and individual entrepreneurs) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
It was established that managers of enterprises, in order to hide illegal activities, entered inaccurate information about economic activities in the registration documentation. Subsequently, an official of one of the units of the South-Western Railway JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” transferred 4.5 million hryvnias to these enterprises with signs of fickleness. The funds were allocated for the repair and arrangement of the waiting area for passengers at the suburban station.
Defendants may face a restriction of liberty for a period of three to five years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a period of up to three years or without such.
Procedural leadership is carried out by prosecutors of the Office of the Attorney General.
Recall: In February of this year, employees of the National Police exposed the illegal activities of officials of one of the structural units of the South-Western Railway JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” in appropriating state funds allocated for the repair and arrangement of the waiting area for passengers at the suburban railway station. to own funds, they issued a number of contracts for the performance of contracting work. In fact, the repairs were made on their own, and the funds — more than 4.5 million hryvnias — were transferred to companies with signs of fickleness for allegedly completed work.
