Investigators of the National Police warned the murder of a businessman from Kherson region and detained the customer of the crime
The attacker estimated the life of a business competitor at $40,000. The police detained the defendant during the transfer of part of the agreed amount to the perpetrator of the crime.
Law enforcers established that there was a conflict between the head of the farm and his business competitor. In particular, entrepreneurs had misunderstandings regarding the conduct of economic activities in the territory of Kherson region.
Therefore, the defendant decided to get rid of the competitor. To carry out a custom-made murder, he hired a resident of the Kherson region who worked in the field of security services. The customer estimated the life of the victim at $40,000.
Law enforcement officers detained the attacker in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine during the transfer to the executor of a part of the agreed amount.
Detention and pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings is carried out under the procedural guidance of the prosecutors of the Office of the Prosecutor General and the operational support of the SBU staff.
Currently, the issue of declaring a suspect under Part 2 of Art. 15 para. 6, 11, 12 part 2 of Art. 6, 11, 12 of Art. 2 is being resolved. 115 (Attempted murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and the election of a preventive measure for it.
The offender faces punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of ten to fifteen years or life imprisonment, with confiscation of property. Investigative actions continue.
Recall that the investigators of the Civil Service of Ukraine declared suspicion to the former official of the enterprise for the supply of poor-quality equipment for the repair of electric locomotives.
