Another 17 police officers completed the training course for tactical support of patrol police
For 4 weeks, the patrolmen mastered in-depth fire training, self-defense tactics, tactical medicine, planning and execution of high-risk operations, the peculiarities of working in rooms with weapons, as well as improved the skills of stopping vehicles and working out scenarios in the most real conditions — at the training ground.
The training was conducted by certified instructors in tactical support of patrol police, who had previously acquired relevant experience from American colleagues. This course was initiated and conducted by the Department of Patrol Police, with the support of the Law Enforcement Division of the US
Embassy in Ukraine.
Today, 17 police officers from Kyiv, Kryvyi Rih, Dnipro, Odessa, Luhansk and Donetsk regions received certificates of successful completion of training. Chief of Patrol Police Department Yevhenii
Zhukov congratulated patrol officers: “Your job is not just strong muscles, it's how you think, how you can make difficult decisions, the courage to take responsibility. Deputy Head of the Law Enforcement Division of the US Embassy in Ukraine William Solley wished the police inspiration, quick and effective solutions in their work.
It should be noted that the police officers of tactical support of the tactical and operational response of the patrol police provide force support to the patrol police, their main task is to work out challenges with a high level of danger. In the course of their service activities, they also provide force and tactical support to many other units of the NPU.
