Service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have improved the procedure for registration of vehicles and obtaining a driver's license for internally displaced persons
From now on, the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs register vehicles and issue driver's licenses to all internally displaced persons.
Yesterday, June 8, 2021, the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine No. 580 of June 02, 2021 entered into force, which amended the regulations governing the issuance of driver's licenses and registration of vehicles.
The changes provide for the possibility for internally displaced persons without a registered main place of residence to receive the following services in the service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs:
- pass exams for the right to drive vehicles;
- exchange and renew driver's license;
- register and re-register vehicles.
In this case, a certificate of registration of an internally displaced person, which indicates the actual place of residence, is additionally provided to the package of necessary documents. Also, the administrator of the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs can submit a certificate in electronic format through the Diya application.
