Serious offenses during today's mass events in Odessa were not recorded. This was announced by the First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Sergey Yarovyi.

In total, almost 3000 citizens took part in the commemorative events.

“More than 2,500 thousand police officers, together with the National Guard and the employees of the State Emergency Service, professionally performed tasks to ensure the safety of citizens during mass events on Kulikovo Field and Cathedral Square. No serious violations have been recorded. Everything happened peacefully and calmly,” Serhiy Yarovyi said.

Oleg Bech, the head of the police of the Odessa region, noted that there were no gross violations of public order.

One man was taken to the police station. He was intoxicated and had forbidden communist symbols with him. As a result, an administrative protocol was drawn up on it and criminal proceedings were initiated on the fact of using prohibited symbols.
